The films will be shown on Sunday, October 19, November 9 and December 7 at 2:00 pm in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post In 2002, Les Srager created the Fairfield Plays Hollywood film series at the Fairfield Public Library where he introduced films and led a discussion following each showing. 2:44am--#Monroe CT--Firefighters are on scene of a house fire at 11 Fox Run. Firefighters reporting on scene are reporting the house engulfed in flames. It is in an area with hydrants. UPDATE: 3:26am--Firefighters reporting the bulk of the fire has been knocked down. Trumbull and Shelton have been providing mutual aid to cover the empty fire stations in Monroe as they fought this blaze. No injuries have been reported.
