5:00pm--#Westport CT-- The TD Bank at 1111 Post Road East was robbed at gunpoint. The robbers were two black males driving a black Volkswagen hatchback with plate # 213TZV which is a stolen plate. Stratford and Shelton also had similar robberies today from the same two. UPDATE--Westport has one in custody and one still at large. 6:19pm--#UPDATE: Police have recovered the gun and money. One in custody one still at large.
3:13pm--#cttraffic--#Westport CT-- A crash on I-95 northbound in the left shoulder with reported injuries. Nothing major but enough to start a slow start to the commute. The boat is taking on water. 11:30pm--UPDATE--All four on board safely on the fire boat. UPDATE--Reports say its on the Stratford side. Bridgeport firefighters are already on scene. 11:00pm--UPDATE--Radio transmissions say they are closer to the Port Jeff Ferry. Police are investigating. 3:33pm--#Fairfield CT--Some scary moments for the homeowners at 184 Sigwin Drive when they had a grill fire on their 2nd story deck that was attached to the home. The fire was due to a leaking propane tank. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson took charge of the scene and reported the fire was quickly extinguished and the remainder of the tank was vented.
