His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Fairfield News: Police seek help in identifying bank robbers

On January 27, 2013 at 12:06 pm, a bank robbery was reported from the Fairfield  County Credit Union at 1515 Black Rock Tpke., Fairfield, CT. Three suspects arrived a 1996 Buick Century, 4 door, color blue, CT reg. 136-XYB. It was later learned that it was stolen from Trumbull Avenue Bridgeport, CT that morning.  The vehicle is still active and has not been recovered. One male operator stayed in the vehicle and was described as wearing a red jacket. The other two males entered the bank, one wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt. He  brandished a handgun and demanded money from the teller, an undetermined amount of money was taken. All three suspects are described as black males, no age…
