On January 27, 2013 at 12:06 pm, a bank robbery was reported from the Fairfield  County Credit Union at 1515 Black Rock Tpke., Fairfield, CT. Three suspects arrived a 1996 Buick Century, 4 door, color blue, CT reg. 136-XYB. It was later learned that it was stolen from Trumbull Avenue Bridgeport, CT that morning.  The vehicle is still active and has not been recovered. One male operator stayed in the vehicle and was described as wearing a red jacket.
The other two males entered the bank, one wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt. He  brandished a handgun and demanded money from the teller, an undetermined amount of money was taken. All three suspects are described as black males, no age or other  information was provided.

The suspects fled the scene in the stolen vehicle, southbound on Black Rock Tpke  toward I95. Officers from surrounding towns were notified via State Police Hot Line.  Fairfield Detectives processed the scene at the bank, interviewed bank employees and witnesses, no injuries were reported.
