9:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were in slow speed pursuit of a stolen motor vehicle on the East Side. The pursuit ended at Park and Beecher Street with one in custody.

8:44pm--#Bridgeport CT--A resident in the 500 block of Maple Street reporting his garage was broken into.
8:13pm--#Bridgeport CT--Report of an odor of smoke on the first floor at 192 Alexander Ave. Firefighters on the way. Hopefully it's not a chocolate cake in the oven burning, but ServPro can make it like it never even happened!
6:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police arrested a teen with an illegal handgun after he and another teen attempted a break in on Reservoir Avenue near Edwards Street.
6:28pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man cleaning his gun in the 500 block of Gilman Street had it accidentally discharge into the neighboring apartment/condo. He went to investigate but no one answered the door. Police were dispatched to check on the well being of the neighbor. Since its been over 15 minutes since police arrived on scene I'll take this as a good sign.......
6:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police have one in custody on Truman Street after an attempted break in. A fifteen year old girl heard someone trying to break in to her home, ran down and locked herself in the basement. She had her cellphone and maintained communication throughout the incident. Police and parents are on scene.
3:28pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman going door to door selling alternative electricity plans says she knocked on a door and a woman answered the door, took her purse and closed the door. No mention where it took place but radio reports say the officer is to go to an apartment in the 1600 block of Fairfield Avenue to see the complainant.
3:22pm--#Stratford CT--Report of a crash with injuries at Broadbridge and Booth Street.
1:09pm--#New York City--Police and firefighters are investigating an explosion that took place on Lexington Avenue near 22nd Street. There are no reported injuries. Picture from Foxnews in New York.
