His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. Nakedman Kidnaps Girlfiend’s Baby

Here is the police report on the story we reported as it was happening! (Bridgeport, CT – March 11, 2013) – A 30-year-old faces charges after he allegedly stripped naked, snatched his girlfriend’s baby and ran through traffic on Interstate 95. Santos Rodriguez, of Burr Road, was arrested. The baby didn’t suffer serious injuries. Police were called early Saturday morning at about 4 a.m. The mother of the baby called police and said that her boyfriend, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, had run out of her house naked while carrying her naked infant son. 15 Year Old Followed By Car

3:07pm--Bridgeport CT--A 15 year old girl was walking to William Street when a white car started following her on Barnum and Caroline Street and attempted to get her into his car.   The girl safely made it to her destination and told her mother who immediately called police.  Police are interviewing the girl and her mother now.  At the moment police are looking for a four door white car with a silver bumper, no plate number nor make or model.  The driver is  a dark skinned African American driver about 40 years of age.  We will update this post as more information becomes available.

Fairfield Police Contract Going Before RTM

Editorial- The RTM will decide the Fairfield Police Department's Police Contract on March 18th.  The police union has been operating without a contract for over two years.  That includes two hurricanes and one blizzard of service without complaint.  Two weeks ago 5 officers were sent into a wooded area where a man with a gun a during a standoff.  The officers did not hesitate to move in when ordered even after a shot already rang out.  Why is Fairfield making them wait for a decent contract? Fairfield has a history of being anti-union, dragging on negotiations with the firefighters union and even the nurses union. FAIRFIELD, CT, February 28, 2013: The Fairfield Fire Commission announced the promotions of Lieutenants Scott Trembley of Ansonia and Brian McHugh of Fairfield effective Friday, March 1st at a special meeting last Monday night in the John Sullivan Independence Hall. The promotions were made from a list promulgated by the Fire Commission earlier in the month as the result of written and oral examinations which took place in January at which two Assistant Chiefs and five Lieutenants were promoted. Fatal Pedestrian Accident In Westport

Westport CT-- At approximately 6 pm Saturday night  the Westport Police Department received a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a motor vehicle on the Post Road by Bulkley Avenue North. Arriving officers found the victim, an elderly male lying in the westbound lane next to the vehicle and immediately began medical treatment. The victim was transported from the accident scene to Norwalk Hospital by Westport EMS where he was later pronounced deceased.  Police Department identified the deceased person as Bruce Tabackman, age 68, of Fairfield, CT.
