7:15pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters are on scene at 818 Brewster Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm. Two people are complaining of headaches and EMS has been sent to the scene.
Tax Protest in Bridgeport
#Bridgeport CT--A small group gathered outside City Hall on Lyon Terrace to protest the 6% tax increase. The rally was sponsored by the Bridgeport Republican Town Committee. About thirty five protestors were on hand to protest the proposed six percent tax increase scheduled for Bridgeport. Explosions at the Boston Marathon
Two explosions occurred at the Boston Marathon. At least two dead, 23 injured. UPDATE-- CBS is reporting that Pennsylvania Avenue is being closed off as a precaution. There have been two more explosive devices found that are currently being dismantled. Read more here...

Police pursuit
11:00am--#Trumbull CT #cttraffic--Connecticut State Police were in pursuit of a suspect unknown wants on rt 25 suspect then fled on foot and was apprehended near the movie theaters near off of exit 7 from rt Route 25.
Crash Above I-95
10:50am--#Fairfield CT--First responders are at a multi car crash above I-95 on Meadowbrook Road on the overpass. The road is currently closed down.
Double Shooting In Bridgeport
BrIdgeport, CT -- April 14, 2013) -- City police are investigating a double shooting that happened on Barnum Avenue overnight Sunday. One of the victims was in critical condition. Patrol officers responded to Bridgeport Hospital at 2:29 a.m. on a report of two people suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims arrived in a private car. The operator of the vehicle, a silver Dodge Magnum, was identified as Mack Green, 44, of Reservoir Avenue in Bridgeport. He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. His passenger, Rodney Spann, 42, of Carnegie Street in Bridgeport, suffered from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest. Detectives immediately responded to the hospital and shooting scene.
