#Fairfield CT-- On 08/07/2022, the Fairfield Police Department received a report from an emergencyveterinary clinic that they were caring for a feline that appeared to be suffering frominjuries, which were deemed suspicious. The initial investigation determined that the cat was covered in a liquid, later found to bebleach, had several signs of physical injury, and neurological trauma subsequently dyingas a result of these injuries. The Fairfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau working in collaboration with FairfieldPolice Animal Control Officers, conducted an in depth and lengthy investigation. Followinga necropsy, veterinarians determined that the cat died as a result of blunt force trauma.After a review of all evidence, investigators concluded that the person responsible for thedeath of this cat was Fairfield resident, Raymond…

Firefighters were called to the Westfield Trumbull Mall at 5065 Main Street for plants on fire in front of the Apple Store. Eric Levine, Deputy Chief at Trumbull Volunteer Fire told me that between the homeowner's actions along with the fire department close by they were able to keep a kitchen fire confined to the kitchen. Norwalk Police Officers were dispatched to the football field of Brien McMahon HighSchool on October 2, 2022, at approximately 1:04 p.m. on the report of a male having been assaulted during a football game. Upon arrival, Officers located the unconscious man laying on the field, along with a large crowd of adult and child game spectators.
