VIDEO REPORT–2022-08-02@10:10pm–#Bridgeport CT– #ctfire– Firefighters were called to a fire in the 700 block of Park Street. When firefighters arrived they found heavy fire in the rear of the 2 1/2 story building. A second alarm was quickly called for additional personnel and resources. 3 fire hose lines were in operation to fight the blaze. Firefighters had the fire under control within an hour. One pet died in the fire. There were no injuries reported to occupants or firefighters. Assistant Chief Cora kept rotating personnel to avoid overheating and kept the firefighters hydrated.
2022-08-02@5:06pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters quickly took care of a small kitchen fire contained to the stove in the 400 block of Courtland Avenue.

2022-08-02@11:04am–#Bridgeport CT– A viewer sent in this photo in the 3000 block of Fairfield Avenue of the damage to a downed utility pole right after a car hit it…down the street from TuttiMango. The traffic is able to pass with caution.
On July 29, 2022 Bernard was brought before the court and charged with Sexual Assault in the 1st Degree and Risk of Injury to a Minor. Bond is set at $300,000.
In February Bernard was prosecuted. The state prosecutor said He used his position at a local church to abuse two children with one case lasting over ten years.
RE: Bridgeport Police Department SVU Unit case No. 22D-0459. On July 29, 2022 Bernard was brought before the court and charged with Sexual Assault in the 1st Degree, Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree, and Risk of Injury to a Minor. Bond is set at $500,000. This victims in these two cases are children.
