2020-03-01@11:00pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters had to take the door off the white sedan to get the driver out of the car in a crash at Brooklawn and Park Avenue. There was no word on injuries or the extent of them.
2020-03-01@9:02pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters quick work prevented a fire on the first floor of a multi-family brownstone from spreading to other apartments in the 800 block of Park Avenue. The fire appeared to be confined to the first-floor apartment on the left side. The building was evacuated and there did not appear to be anyone reported injured. Residents were seen outside with their children and pets. The Red Cross was called to help in those displaced and the fire marshall was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.

2020-02-27@11:28am--#Bridgeport CT-- The Bridgeport Police were dispatched to a preliminary report of possibly two people trying to break into a home in the 500th block of Ezra Street. Responding units detained a female party and canvassed the area for the male suspect. State police K9 was called in to attempt a track from items located in front of the house believed to belong to the suspects. BPD Units also responded to the 100th block of Harlem Ave, based on a description of the vehicle utilized by the parties. Officers were also able to obtain a photo of the suspect from the front door surveillance camera and disseminate it.
