#Stratford Connecticut- On 07-25- 2016 at approximately 10pm there was a shooting incident on Burritt Avenue in Stratford. During the incident which involved two SUV’s an unidentified black male exited one vehicle and fired approximately two rounds at the other vehicle. The victim vehicle struck a parked car prior to all involved parties fleeing the scene. Investigators interviewed a person of interest at Bridgeport Hospital but that person was uncooperative and would not speak with officers. At this time the incident is still under investigation. Ronald Bansak was arrested in June of 2016 for Risk of Injury to Children, Assault 2nd degree, Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Restraint, and Interfering with an Emergency 911 Call. Bansak was given an Order of Protection to not have contact with the victim of that incident. Bansak was also ordered to have no contact with others in the victim’s life. In July of 2016, Bansak proceeded to send several text messages to family members of the victim. A warrant was completed for Bansak’s arrest for Criminal Violation of Protective Order. 10:51pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport Connecticut--State Police were following this white Mini Cooper since exit 8 on traffic cameras for cutting off tractor trailers. They then pursed it in the Pembroke and Stillman Street area until the car came to a stop on Pembroke Street. Police are looking for a thin black male wearing a multi colored shirt according to radio reports.
Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Joe Ganim today announced the appointment of Kimberly Staley as Bridgeport Assistant Chief Administrative Officer. Staley recently left her position as Vice President and Director of client services with KRA Corporation where she managed all client-focused services, including contractual agreements. As Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, Staley’s duties will include leading the planning, coordination, and execution of targeted programs and operations to bring a fresh approach to the challenges Bridgeport is facing.
