Mayor Luke Bronin today announced that Brett Broesder has been named Director of Communications and New Media for the City of Hartford, Conn. In this role, Broesder will serve as the primary media contact and spokesperson for the capital city. #Bridgeport Connecticut--The best tip Domino's Pizza driver Jonathan Council could have received is if he listened to K-9 Officer Mark Martocchio advice to move his car on the narrow Olive Street ( or hold the olives). Instead he moved his car further up the block and now was blocking traffic. After refusing to show the officer his registration and then throwing it at the officer, instead of receiving an infraction for improper parking he then added Interfering with an Officer like adding toppings to a pizza. After a cheesy mugshot and posting a $5,000 bond he was released from custody. #Bridgeport Connecticut--Please be aware that members of the Traffic Division are going to be taking part in a Booster Seat Giveaway on March 21, Monday. The event will take place at Barnum School, 495 Waterview Ave in the gym from 1:00pm-3:00pm. (Refer to the attachments for complete details). Lt Thomas Minar and PO Michael Falbo are certified CPS techs and will be there to assist in the proper installation of the booster seats.
