Bridgeport News: Water Main Break Closes Road

11:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Knowlton Street at Maple Street is closed due to a large water main break.  The roadway is expected to be closed all night and into the morning.  Expect a lot of media, they love covering these for some reason….probably because they are there for so long.

Bridgeport News: Shots Fired–Now Manhunt

UPDATE: 9:50pm–Sounds like they caught the suspect at Huntington and Boston Avenue.

 

UPDATE: A person was robbed and pistol whipped on Livingston Street, hit and bleeding on the head.

8:20pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Shots were fired in the vicinity of a police officer who gave chase in the East Main and Livingston area.  Police chased him in the backyards of Livingston and Edna Street.  If you live in the area and see someone running in your backyard call 911 immediately!

Bridgeport News: Employee Injured

3:01pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– An employee of the Innovative Display & Design at 1452 Barnum Avenue was injured when a pallet fell off a tow truck striking the employee on the face. He had lacerations but no life threatening injuries.   He was transported to the hospital.  Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was called to the scene to investigate.

Bridgeport News: Shots Fired From The Upstairs Neighbor

11:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–  A woman on the second floor called police for shots fired from the upstairs neighbor at 1535 Park Avenue.  The woman notices bullet holes in her ceiling.  Police have three detained on the third floor.
