6:55pm--#Bridgeport CT--#Fairfield CT--A complicated and delayed call mainly because I was on my way to pick up my fix from Arthur's Famous Pizza, 430 Park Avenue and that I had to play back audio from both towns.  An officer on patrol spotted a stolen vehicle, a tan Chevy Malibu with CT plates 7AHLE8 on Washington and Pequonnick Streets and gave chase.  Bridgeport Police spokesman William Kaempffer confirmed the car was stolen with key back in February.  Chatter from all towns including state police radios said it was taken at gunpoint in a carjacking.  The pursuit continued to Laurel and Brooklawn Avenue.  The pursuit continued into Fairfield to Park Avenue where the driver almost hit a Bridgeport Police Officer at Wilson…

Bridgeport News: Fire At St. Vincent’s Hospital

12:24am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were called for an activated fire alarm at St. Vincent's Medical Center at 2800 Main Street.  They discovered a heavy smoke condition in the basement.  The called for additional freighters to the scene to help investigate.  They discovered a dryer fire near the loading dock area.  As usual the firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.  St. Vincent's then started diverting emergency patients to other hospitals.

Fairfield News: Weekly Pursuit From Bridgeport to Fairfield

The home received minor damage. The road is closed at Kent Avenue. 7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--  A man called for EMS that he cut his hand while slicing vegetables.  Turns out he was shot in the hand.  The incident took place on benches on Canon Street.  Police told me the recovered  the firearm.   Detectives are on scene investigating.
