Store at 1138-1144 Main Street in Bridgeport may have this first honor. Here is an advertisement in the Bridgeport Farmer newspaper dated June 20, 1910 saying the store is cool. 5:00pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A car crashed into a strip mall at the intersection of Suburban and Brooklawn Avenue. Fortunately it was an empty store being converted into a liquor store. I briefly saw the driver, she appeared to be in her thirties, there were no reported injuries. Firefighters can be seen in the photograph removing shards of glass to the frame of the window.

EMS took the boy (I'm guessing around ten years of age) into the ambulance to evaluate him. Police care investigating.
