Narcotics Arrest

On 04-09-2015 Jonathan Lucky age 28 of Naugatuck CT was arrested following a narcotics investigation into alleged sales of heroin. During the investigation investigators from Stratford PD along with those from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force observed Lucky as he pulled into the parking lot of a Walgreens in Bridgeport. The information developed in the case led investigators to believe that Lucky would be there to conduct a drug transaction. Officers approached Lucky as he sat in his 2010 Jeep Cherokee. As the investigators made contact with him, Lucky attempted to flee, striking a parked vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident. At the time of arrest Lucky was found to be in possession of $1,380 dollars and 1.18 pounds of heroin which was packaged in…

Bridgeport News: One Detained After Manhunt

5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT--One person has been detained after a brief manhunt on Lenox Avenue Mountain Grove area. A male 15-20 years of age robbed a woman of her Galaxy III phone at Howard and State Street area. He fled on foot down Fairfield Avenue towards Bassick Avenue. He ran between yards on Lenox and Mountain Grove and was found hiding in an abandoned home. The phone was recovered. Things that make you go hmmmmmm......This would be a boyhunt since he is under 21 and if you steal an Apple phone from a victim they call it Apple Picking. Is this Galaxy Picking? State Police Narcotics Task Force Makes Arrest in Bridgeport

#Bridgeport CT--On 04/08/15 State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force (SNTF) detectives from the South West office, executed a search and seizure warrant and an arrest warrant in Bridgeport. The warrants were obtained after SNTF detectives and local police officers from various police departments conducted a Detectives seized 6 grams of crack cocaine, 3.4 grams of Heroin, a Colt 45 handgun with an obliterated serial number, $1,952 US currency, and assorted drug paraphernalia. The accused was detained pending his court appearance.  His bond was set at $200,000. Bridgeport News: Church Rectory Fire

1:20am--#Bridgeport CT--Once again, police on routine patrol discover a fire and report and get firefighters to the scene before damage could become more extenisve at St. Cyril Church at 50 Church Street.  A fire, possibly set in the dumpster extended into the boarded up rectory.  Firefighters did a search of the large building just in case there were any living inside.  It did not sound like they located anyone from radio reports.  The fire extended to the second floor and basement.  Firefighters quickly had the fire under control and extinguished.  There were no reported injuries.  The fire marshal was called to the scene. Bridgeport and Stratford Police Investigate Two Deaths The Bridgeport and Stratford police Monday are investigating two deaths and any potential connection. Earlier today, police investigating the disappearance of Minnie Lincoln, a 57-year-old Bridgeport woman, located human remains in a marshy area behind an industrial on Watson Boulevard in Stratford. Bridgeport and Stratford Police, with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police and the FBI, had been investigating her disappearance since she was reported missing on  March 31. Police developed strong leads and today began a search in the Watson Boulevard area and located human remains. Bridgeport News: Shots Fired in Club

1:44am--#Bridgeport CT--Police were called to the Gentlemen's Club at 980 Railroad Avenue for a shooting inside the club.  No one was hit or injured.   As I arrived on scene dozens of people were seen exiting the club. Many of the witnesses told me that they heard shots inside the club when the fled.  Apparently no one was hit, EMS was not even called to the scene.  I tried to confirm the club's name but found nothing for 980 Railroad Avenue online.  People were seen exiting a side door on Wordin Avenue. 1ish--#Bridgeport CT--Burglars were busy tonight.  First call came in about a break in at the yacht club on Brewster Street.  There was not many updates on this call.   A second call about the same time came in for a break in at the meat market at 827 North Avenue.  Police found a broken window, witness saw someone go in but not come out.  The person with a key called to the scene was able to show police security camera footage on his iPhone.  Milford Police sent their K-9 and found the building empty but security cameras gave a description of the suspect.  Police are looking for a white male with glasses, black face mask, black jacket gray shirt and…

Governor Looks To End School To Prison Pipeline
