There was a walk down memory lane at the Fairfield Public Library with author Patti Woods as she presented her book “Lost Restaurants of Fairfield” as part of the What’s Cooking Series at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road recently. 8:39pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut #BlackRock CT--Fairfield Avenue at the town line is at a slow roll with this 2 car crash. The person in the car in the photo received neck and head lacerations of a result of the crash. The car that allegedly hit them did not appear to have much damage or injuries.
5:38pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--An overturned canoe was found but no paddle in Pine Creek near the 1400 block of Fairfield Beach Road. Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola said there are no over due boaters and they suspect the high winds yesterday blew the canoe from where it was kept. Just before they left the scene the did find an address in Westport and they are having Westport Police locate the owners. The red line in the picture is the overturned canoe. No paddles, personal flotation devices or any other items were found with or near the boat.
