9:33pm--#Fairfield CT-- A woman passerby called police that she saw a black woman with a bloody nose be forced into a car by a Hispanic man in the Chip's parking lot on Tunxis Hill Road. The car then fled down Tunxis Hill towards Kohl's. Police are investigating.
A multiple town pursuit started by that began on 1-95 NB at exit 17. As police approached the vehicle took off and led Westport on a pursuit down to exit 19 where Fairfield and State Police assisted once it exit the 19 off ramp . The vehicle continued to flee down the Post Road back into Westport before making a turn heading eastbound on the Post Road. After being boxed the vehicle jumped the curb and drove on the grass towards Sasco Hill in Fairfield where spike strips were attempted to be deployed. 9:39pm--#Fairfield CT--A welder's torch set off a blaze behind the Planet Fitness on Black Rock Turnpike (across from BJ's) The fire was outside of the storage building behind the fitness center, some wooden pallets started burning and extended into the building. I was first on the scene but only with my cellphone, heck I didn't even have my hat with me! I will have video on it shortly.
3:22pm--#Fairfield CT--A Porsche hit a parked school bus at Country Day School at 2970 Bronson Road and fled the scene. A witness believe she knows the parent driving the car.
10:03am--#Fairfield CT--Report of a two car accident with injuries in the 800 block of Stratfield Road. First responders on the way.
11:40pm--#Fairfield CT--A patron at a restaurant in the 2000 block of the Post Road is reporting to police that the back window of their car was smashed in and a purse was taken.
7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man on Norman Street called police that he is in Wentfield Park and spiders are attacking him. He may also be off his meds according radio reports.
6:46pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are in the area of Greenfield and Marlboro Terrace to Tunxis Hill looking for a shoplifter from Stop and Shop. 7:19pm--Update: They got him!
4:40pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are on the way to the 200 block of Fairmont Terrace where a mother called police that the 3 lady Jehovah Witnesses tricked her 6 year old into opening the door by saying "they have an invitation".
10:27am--#Fairfield CT--An elderly woman stopped at Hemlock Hardware on the Post Road this morning. As she was leaving, her foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas. The car lunged forward hitting the building. The woman was not injured. Damage to the building was to the foundation's cinder blocks. The building inspector was called to inspect. If the damage was significant, our friends at Servpro would have made it like it never even happened.
