FAIRFIELD NEWS: ANIMAL CRUELTY INVESTIGATION

#Fairfield CT-- On 08/07/2022, the Fairfield Police Department received a report from an emergencyveterinary clinic that they were caring for a feline that appeared to be suffering frominjuries, which were deemed suspicious. The initial investigation determined that the cat was covered in a liquid, later found to bebleach, had several signs of physical injury, and neurological trauma subsequently dyingas a result of these injuries. The Fairfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau working in collaboration with FairfieldPolice Animal Control Officers, conducted an in depth and lengthy investigation. Followinga necropsy, veterinarians determined that the cat died as a result of blunt force trauma.After a review of all evidence, investigators concluded that the person responsible for thedeath of this cat was Fairfield resident, Raymond…

Fairfield News: Swatting Incident Brings Large Police Presence

2022-09-23@9:11am--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Police were called to Colonial Drive for the report of a double homicide which turned out to be a swatting incident. Swatting is defined as "the action or practice of making a prank call to emergency services in an attempt to bring about the dispatch of a large number of armed police officers to a particular address."
