This time of year is marked by many happy occasions, prom and graduation celebrations, as well as impending summer break. Some parents will be faced with the decision of whether to host a teen party where alcohol may be involved. We want to remind parents of the potential pitfalls of these gatherings, as well as the resources and supports available. Times have changed and the risks of hosting a party are now greater for both youth and homeowners. #Norwalk Connecticut--On Sunday May 15, 2016, the Norwalk Department of Police Service received two separate complaints, each alleging that a student had been assaulted. The assaults are alleged to have occurred at the High Road School. The High Road School is a private school located at 17 North Avenue, Norwalk. Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are currently investigating these allegations. The investigations are being handled in conjunction with both state and non-profit child protective agencies. Susan Katz and Katzing Creative Ways won the coveted Pollie Award from the American Assoc. of Political Consultants (AAPC), for the Joe Ganim mayoral campaign.
