#Fairfield CT--Dispatchers at Fairfield Police Department doing some heroic things  with back to back calls this morning.  First they are giving over the phone instructions for CPR until fire, police and EMS arrive.    Now they are coordinating information with a mom, the police and her lost child at a marathon race in town.  The child has been located.  I probably won't know the outcome of the person having the heart attack.  What I do know is that dispatchers do this daily without much recognition.  We are blessed to have great professionals not just in Fairfield but in our entire area.  How about some likes to show your appreciation!

Stratord News: Child Porn Arrest

On 03-11-2015 investigators working in conjunction with Pennsylvania State Police concluded an investigation into alleged child pornography. During the investigation Stratford Police Investigators determined that John Cotto, age 23 of Stratford was in possession of child pornography. The investigation determined that the files were intentionally sought out and stored on a computer owned by Cotto. The investigation started after investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police attempted to serve a search warrant for Cotto in their state but learned that Cotto moved back to Stratford just prior to the warrant service. Investigators picked up the investigation locally and an arrest warrant was subsequently applied for and approved. Cotto was processed and subsequently released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 03-18-2015.

Stratford Police Need Your Help

#Stratford CT--On Wednesday, March 11th a shoplifting occurred at the Stop&Shop located on East Main Street in Stratford. The suspect fled the scene and led officers on a short pursuit which was terminated. The suspect is pictured below and this department is looking for help in identifying the person of interest. He is described as a white male, in his 40’s. He was last seen wearing kaki pants and a blue/white checkered shirt. He left the scene driving a late model Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was green in color but the driver side door was discolored. The license plate displayed on the truck, CT 2424DA was a stolen license plate. Stratford News: Hazmat on School Bus (Video Report)

3:12pm--#Stratford CT--At least 5 students from Flood Middle School were transported to the hospital after some sort of spray was released on the school bus.  Students told me that it didn't have any smell but students began coughing.  Assistant Fire Chief John Conway told me that five students were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with eye and throat irritations.  Police have not identified the student the released the spray but they are investigating.
