Bridgeport/Trumbull News: 3 Car Crash

UPDATE: One of the cars is now reported on fire. Everyone is safely out of all the cars involved. An off duty fire lieutenant is on scene.
5:00pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Police from Bridgeport and Trumbull dispatched to a 3-4 car crash on East Main at Broadbridge near Beardsley park.  Avoid the area if you can.

Trumbull News: Lions Donate Pet Oxygen Masks

#Trumbull Connecticut– On Thursday, January 26th, the Trumbull Lions Club donated Pet Oxygen Masks to members of the Nichols Fire Department in Trumbull, Connecticut during their annual CPR refresher training.  Firefighters recertify in CPR and Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) every year.  Now, thanks to the generosity of the Trumbull Lions Club, Firefighters will have additional masks to help render aid to family pets in 2017.

Trumbull Pursuit Into Bridgeport

3:43pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–#Trumbull Connecticut– Trumbull Police were in a 40mph pursuit into Bridgeport where the suspect vehicle crash at Summit and Lindley Street.  A short foot pursuit ensued but the Trumbull Officer had the suspect in custody at gunpoint behind 1122 Lindley Street.  The suspect was wanted for an alleged larceny.  Great photos sent in by a viewer who wanted to remain anonymous.

 

 

Trumbull News: Burglary Manhunt

7:44pm–#Trumbull Connecticut– There was a break in on Little Plain Road and a weed whacker was taken.  A neighbor’s dog gave chase to the burglar into the woods towards Route 25.  Please use caution if on the highway near there as police along with K-9 have just crossed over all four lanes.  It is believed the suspect got picked up by car in that area.

Monroe/Trumbull News: Police Pursuit Terminated

10:55pm–#Monroe Connecticut–#Trumbull Connecticut– A police pursuit that for a Subaru Outback originating in the Main Street Monroe area down Route 25 south has been broken off by police.  The pursuit continued on the Merritt Parkway south and terminated in the Westfield Trumbull Mall area.  Fairfield Police located and then lost the vehicle in the Tunxis Hill Road area near Kohls.
