ON TUESDAY (3/15) AT ABOUT 2:30 PM, POLICE RESPONDED TO 310 EDISON RD. AFTER NEIGHBORS REPORTED TWO MALES WALKING AROUND THE REAR OF THE HOUSE. WHEN POLICE BEGAN CHECKING THE EXTERIOR THEY LOCATED AN OPEN REAR DOOR WHICH APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN FORCED OPEN AND TWO MALE SUBJECTS STANDING IN THE KITCHEN. A THIRD PERSON WAS THEN LOCATED IN THE HOUSE AND ALL THREE WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. ONE OF THE SUSPECTS, IDENTIFIED AS 21 YEAR OLD JONATHAN DEJESUS WAS FOUND TO RESIDE NEXT DOOR AND STATED HE WAS JUST CHECKING THE HOUSE OUT BECAUSE HE WAS CURIOUS AS TO WHY IT HAD BEEN VACANT FOR A WHILE. 3:12pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--#Trumbull Connecticut--I have received messages of a power outage in the Sylvan Avenue Whiskey Hill area of Bridgeport and Trumbull Police have just said power is out on Old Town Road area and traffic lights are out in the area. EMS just reported Islandbrook and Chopsey Hill in Bridgeport is out. Remember, if the lights are out at an intersection you need to treat it as a 4 way stop. A graduation for K-9 was recently held at Fairfield Police Department for Fairfield, Trumbull, Derby and Seymour. Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara said K-9's make our department better. First Selectman Michael Tetreau agreed, citing K-9 Ruger's at his retirement ceremony a few months back. K-9 Ruger had to retire over health issues. Frank Reda from Superior K-9 said the benefit is teamwork, that each town will share the dogs and the same training allows police K-9 to "plug and play", that is each officer and K-9 knows what is expected.
