6:49pm--#Fairfield CT--Fairfield remains the big news town today. This time for a hit and run in the parking lot of CVS at Black Rock and Jennings Road. A dark colored pick up truck struck the car that has a 9 month old baby inside the fled the scene. A witness got a plate number that matched the truck and it sounds like they got em! EMS was arriving when I left the scene.
4:49pm--#Fairfield CT-- A bicyclist has been struck by a car in front of the condos at 1899 Stratfield Road according to radio reports. It did appear that a car stopped and a woman was seen talking to police officers. The officers were to busy with the scene to verify and the shift commander is tied up with the media on the train incident earlier. The biker, a girl was conscious when she was put in the ambulance.
Fairfield CT-- A Fairfield man whose address is listed as homeless was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal two nail guns from the Home Depot on Grasmere Avenue. Justin Russ, 27 was apprehended by an off duty Stamford Police Officer in the parking lot. It was discovered that Russ had a $5,000 outstanding bond from New Canaan, a $50,000 bond from Berlin and a $25,000 bond from Bridgeport. #Fairfield CT--Fairfield of Audi reported to police on October 17th that four tires and rims were stolen off a car in their lot. No value was available at the time of the report. On October 18th Infinity of Devon reported four tires and rims stolen off a car in their lot valued at $6,000. Both dealerships are located on Commerce Drive. This report is made possible by:
#Bridgeport, CT Bridgeport Police Press Release -- Today, the Bridgeport Police Department provided an update on the active investigation of last night’s stabbing related homicide. On October 18 at 11:05 p.m., police officers responded to calls regarding an assault with a firearm on Goldenrod Ave. near the corner of Madison Ave. Upon arrival at the scene, police officers found a 28-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest, side, and stomach. The victim was immediately transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance. Regarding the incident that resulted in the victim being stabbed, witnesses report that four masked men -- some displaying a firearm -- entered the victim’s home. The four suspects ransacked the victim’s house, and detectives are investigating…

Video Report--11:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport Police are investigating a home invasion at 665 Golden Rod Avenue around 11pm Sunday night. When police arrived they found an unresponsive male shot in the chest. He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital, his condition is unknown at this time. Police are looking for four Hispanic males wearing ski masks who fled in a dark sedan north on Golden Rod Avenue towards Main Street.
