UPDATE: Old Navy changed their mind and will not press charges according to radio reports. 3:22pm--#Fairfield CT-- Two out of three shoplifters in a black 2015 Mercedes C300 from Old Navy apprehended by Fairfield Police in front of TJ Max. Old Navy does not want to press charges according to radio reports, probably because it was a citizen that caught them and gave police info on what to look for. 1:50am--#Bridgeport CT--How about some likes for Bridgeport Police who were able to prevent a woman who was about to jump off the Washington/Highland Street Bridge onto Route 8/25 into traffic. Police called for state police to shutdown the highway. The woman's feet was dangling over the bridge and Bridgeport Police got her back onto the bridge. She is being transported to the hospital by EMS now. Great job officers!
