3:16pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A 58 year old man was shot and killed in a robbery attempt at the Sapiao's Grocery on Lexington Avenue at the corner of Linen Avenue. Police said two men entered the store and shots were fired. Multiple witnesses have told me it is the store owner but police have NOT confirmed this.

UPDATE: Police say the motorcycle was driven by Walter Mebane IV, 26, of Stamford and the Ford Escape SUV driven by Marie Staley, 33, of Monroe. 8:11pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating a serious crash between a motorcycle and SUV at Post and Beach Road. The SUV was traveling west on the Post Road and was trying to make a left onto Beach Road. The motorcycle was traveling east on the Post Road when the SUV turned in front of the motorcyclist.
