Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Shooting Suspect

(Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 29, 2013) – Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an Aug. 17 shooting. Lt. William Bailey and Officer Gerald Lavin were in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue when they observed a car pull up a block away. A male got out of the car and fired numerous shots before jumping back into the car and fleeing. No one was struck by the gunfire and the intended target has not come forward. Police have an image of the suspected shooter and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
