Bridgeport News: Now For Something Totally Different

2021-02-27@2:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received a call reporting a person in the convenience store Reservoir and Trumbull Avenue was bleeding from the hand and then went unconscious.  Fire and AMR were sent to the scene.  Shortly after fire arrived on scene, they reported a possible gunshot wound.  Patrol units and a Sector Sergeant were sent to the scene to investigate. The victim had since gotten up and attempted to walk away from the scene but was located in the 1800 block of Reservoir Avenue. The victim did not suffer from a gun shot wound after further assessment.

Fairfield News: Attack On The Bus

Fairfield Police UPDATE: On 2/26/21 at 8:35 pm, a Greater Bridgeport Transit bus driver called police to report a woman passenger had boarded the bus and struck another passenger while the bus was in the area of Post Road and Beach Rd. Officers responded and identified the alleged assailant as 38 yo Lisette Hernandez of Bridgeport.  According to the victim, she was seated on the bus when she was struck in the face by a woman she did not know. The victim did not sustain any injuries. Norwalk News: Municipal Employee Arrested

#Norwalk CT--Municipal Employee Arrested On Thursday, February 25, 2021, William Howard, age 70, of 29 Bonnybrook Rd Norwalk, CT turned himself in to the Norwalk Police Department on an arrest warrant, charging him with 32 counts of Forgery in the Second Degree. The arrest warrant was the result of a three month long investigation conducted by the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau at the request of the City of Norwalk’s Recreation and Parks Department, regarding submitted vendor bids. William Howard was a seasonal employee with the City of Norwalk with no access to City accounts or funds. As a result of the investigators’ findings, William Howard was processed and released on a court set bond of $100,000 with an arraignment…
