This week, sponsored by the Association of Public-SafetyCommunications Officials (APCO) International and celebrated annually, honors the thousandsof men and women who respond to emergency calls, dispatch emergency professionals andequipment, and render life-saving assistance to the world’s citizens.The Stratford Public Safety Communications Center is the primary public safety answering point(PSAP) for the Town of Stratford. They are responsible for manning the E911 center anddispatching police, EMS and/or fire units to over 40,000 calls per year. WASHINGTON, D.C] – U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Susan Collins (R-ME), Tom Carper (D-DE), and Richard Burr (R-NC) are introducing the Big Cat Public Safety Act today to protect public safety and improve animal welfare.
