Bridgeport News: Bathroom Fire

11: 14pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport's finest's quick response kept a bathroom fire confined to the second floor in the 400 block of Norman Street.  Everyone made it out of the building safely and the firefighters had the bulk of the fire knocked within minutes.  There were no reported injuries.  The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.   Our sponsor can make it Like It Never Even Happened!

Fairfield News: Hazmat Incident

Fairfield Fire Department Press Release: At 5:07PM PM the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a call from a resident at 200 Edgewood Road reporting her refrigerator was leaking in the basement. Ladder 2 and Engine 3 responded to assist the resident. Upon arrival the resident stated that when she opened the freezer her eyes were irritated and began to water. Ladder 2 made entry to the basement with full protective equipment and a compliment of meters to assess the situation. Upon entering the basement Ladder 2’s meters immediately went into alarm signifying the release of the vintage model refrigerator’s coolant. Bridgeport News: One Dead After Robbery/Pursuit/Rollover Accident

#Bridgeport News: On Thursday, I was the first to tell you at 5:50pm about a man on McKinley Avenue who returned home from work and was robbed at gunpoint in a dark blue Toyota SUV. What was taken included a gold chain, $18 in cash, and a bag of Skittles. A short time later at around 6:10pm, police located a vehicle matching that description on Kossuth Street on the east side. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over a number of times. The vehicle, a Toyota 4 Runner, drove through side streets at a high rate of speed according to Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez. Bridgeport News: 1 Dead After Robbery/Pursuit/Rollover Crash On Route 8

UPDATE: Bridgeport Police spokesperson Av Harris said there were four in the car.  The driver was 15.  All occupants in the car were between the ages of 15-18.  The 18-year-old was thrown from the vehicle and died.  The driver and two others were injured but not seriously.  Firearms were recovered from the scene.   6:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Suspects wanted in a robbery on McKinley Avenue engaged police in a pusuit from Kossuth Steet to William and the roads leading to Route 8.  The pursuit continued onto Route 8 northbound where they crashed and flipped at the split on Route 8/25 past exit 5.  Police apprehended one by the ballparks at Beardsley Park.  The other two suspects are trapped in the vehicle, there are…
