1:44pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Fairfield and Mountain Grove Street. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police. She was very distraught over the situation.

#Westport CT–On 08/19/2018 at approximately 10:00am, an officer observed a vehicle traveling westbound on Post Road East. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of North Providence, Rhode Island. A motor vehicle stop was initiated and the operator was identified as Adam Sipes, 34, of Bridgeport, CT. Officers learned the vehicle was an overdue rental,
10:36pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pedestrian was hit by a car on Oak Street. The driver remained and cooperated with police. The man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
