11:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police received a call that a white Mercedes was traveling down State Street while a person who was shot in the neck. A woman thought to be the driver told police the man was shot in the 500 block of Ellsworth Avenue. The woman apparently attempted to drive the man to the hospital but decided to pull over in front of the former Connecticut Post building at 410 State Street. Police quickly located the car and EMS were there quickly and transported the man to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time. Police located a crime scene in a parking lot behind the Burroughs Community Center on Ellsworth Street near Martin Terrace.
10:39pm--#Milford CT-- Firefighters were called to 1120 New Haven Avenue for an activated fire alarm and reported a fire on the second with a smoke condition. Tenants on the second floor were evacuated, firefighters are now ventilating the building. This news report is made possible by:
9:37pm--#Bridgeport CT-- The driver of a car the entered 395 Pequannock Street says he was hit by another vehicle that pushed into the building. The other driver fled. Remarkably there were no serious injuries.

10:22am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a robbery in the 500 block of Connecticut Avenue. The victim was thrown to the ground by two males who then robbed him and fled in a gray car. This news report is made possible by:
5:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Report of a man trapped under a red car at Bass Pro. Firefighters arrived to find a man under the car trapped and then quickly reported he had freed himself. He was transported to the hospital by EMS. This news report is made possible by:
#Bridgeport CT--This morning, members of the Fugitive Task Force apprehended Richard Evans of 350 Dogwood Drive) and served him with an arrest warrant charging him with Murder, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, and Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit. He is alleged to have fatally shot Reginald May at 140 Alice Street on July 2, 2017. The evidence shows that Evans lured May out of his apartment by setting off his car alarm, and then opening fire on him from a neighboring yard when he came outside to investigate.
