A few minutes ago another crash, this time with injuries were reported in front of Star Towing/gas station at Jennings and Black Rock Turnpike. Bridgeport News: Homicide Arrest
#Bridgeport CT--Yesterday, detectives arrested Waldo "Abel" Gonzalez (DOB: 5/24/74) and charged him with the July 2nd homicide of Ronald Simmons. Gonzalez is accused of fatally shooting Simmons at Norman Street and Freemont Avenue after a dispute between their families. For their roles in the dispute, Gonzalez' wife, Luz Perez (DOB: 8/4/78), and his two daughters were also arrested. Gonzalez is charged with Murder, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Pistol Without a Permit, and Risk of Injury to a Minor. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. Perez is charged with Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree, Risk of Injury to a Minor, Assault in the Third Degree, and Breach of Peace. She has a $25,000 bond.
