1:17am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Tonight's vehicle fire was in the driveway at 957 Howard Avenue. Firefighters quick response prevented the flames from extending to the house.
9:30pm-ish--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Witnesses said they heard 5 shot around 9:30 Saturday night and two women are in critical condition. Chief Perez said he believes it was a robbery on the quite Anson Street which is located behind St. Vincent's Hospital. One woman was shot in the chest and the other in the back. 4:42pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- The principal at St. Thomas School at 1719 Post Road called police that she was watching kids in the school, they entered from the back door. When police arrived the youths were gone. At 4:53pm police received a call of youths on top of Osborne Hill School at 760 Stillson Road. The schools are three miles apart from each other. 12:25pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Firefighters were called to Old Academy Road near Old Mine Road for a man trapped under a farm tractor. Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola told me the man was attempting to jump start the tractor when the tractor rolled back on his leg trapping him. Firefighters had to use a combination of equipment they carry on their truck like cribbing, airbags and jack. The tractor had a grass cutting device on the back and the firefighters had to be extra careful not to allow the tractor to shift so it would not further injure the man. The man had injuries to his leg, he did not lose consciousness and was able to talk to the first responders. EMS…
3:09pm--#cttraffic--#Westport Connecticut-- A woman fell or was pushed out of a car on I-95 southbound between exits 17 and 18.
