Fairfield News: Distracted Driving Enforcement Taking Place Right Now!

5:15pm--#Fairfield CT-- There is distracted driving enforcement going on in Fairfield right now.  Lieutenant Kalamaris said it was okay to post, but I won't say where they are.  I'm sure many of you will be able to guess from the picture.  They are not having any shortage of customers!    They will be throughout the town this weekend.  I'll have a report with him tomorrow!

Bridgeport News: Man Found Dead In Burger King Was There Since Last Night

12:12am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police, fire and EMS were called to the Burger King at 193 Boston Avenue for a medical call.  Police confirmed that a white male in his early twenties went to the men's room overnight and locked the door.   The overdose happened in the bathroom passed away sometime overnight.  He was discovered sometime around noon time.  The restaurant was closed and the health inspector was called.

The Norwalk Police Detective Bureau is requesting the public's assistance with a homicide investigation. On August 6, 2011, Rickita Smalls and Iroquois Alston were shotto death on Avenue B. The State of Connecticut is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for their murders. Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In Homicide #18

#Bridgeport CT-- On April 27th, 2017, Bridgeport Police responded to Saint Vincent's Hospital on a report of an assault. According to witnesses, Victor Diaz (DOB: 9/12/1990) was assaulted by several friends at Dewhirst Street and Baker Street, during which he suffered an asthma attack.  Diaz was admitted to the hospital and three days later, on April 30th, 2017, he died. A subsequent autopsy concluded that his death was directly related to the attack and was ruled a homicide.    Latia Quarles (DOB: 1/19/94 of 575 Burnsford Ave) was arrested and charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree for her role in Diaz's death. She is being held on $150,000 bond. Additional arrests are expected shortly.
