Fairfield News: 17 Year Old Drowns In Fairfield Pond

UPDATE:  The victim is identified as 17-year-old Nagee Crowder of Fairfield CT. After Crowder was transported to the hospital, resuscitative efforts continued until 8:10pm, at which time St. Vincent's medical staff pronounced Crowder dead. Witness accounts stated that several juveniles were swimming in Perry’s Mill Pond. Crowder was observed jumping into the water off of a paddleboard and when his friends saw him in distress they made attempts to help but were unable to save him. #Hartford State Senator Tony Hwang applauded the Connecticut State Senate’s bipartisan approval of the Republican budget proposal. Three Democratic lawmakers joined Republicans in voting for the amended state budget, which passed by a vote of 21 to 15. The amended budget now goes to the state House of Representatives for a vote “Our plan moves Connecticut in a new direction,” Sen.
