#Bridgeport CT--On July 25, 2017 troopers from Troop G - Bridgeport are investigating a larceny reported at Housatonic Community College, 900 Lafayette Blvd. in Bridgeport, CT. At approximately 6:45 a.m., a male suspect entered a room where several items were taken. Reported stolen was a black iPad, a black Galaxy S6 phone and a black iPhone 5. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'5" to 5'8", 150-180 lbs, wearing a gray t-shirt, green cargo shorts and black sneakers. 11:00PMish--Right around 11pm shots were fired by a white car striking a man at Pearl Street at Noble Avenue. Police were combing the area for shell casings and other evidence when I left the scene. A short time later police reported they recovered a firearm and had a suspect in custody at Central and Deacon Street. I don't know at this time if the two scenes are connected.
