Bridgeport News: Police Investigate Shooting
Police statement of 1/8 @ 1:23pm: On January 7, 2017 at 2107 hours, patrol officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired at 1001 E. Main Street Bridgeport, CT. Preliminary information suggests that a vehicle was parked on the side of a building that is occupied by El Flamboyan restaurant, and several residential apartments. A perpetrator emerged from the side of the building and fired several rounds into this parked vehicle. A female victim, 26, who was seated in a passenger seat was struck by gunfire. She was transported by private vehicle to Bridgeport Hospital, where she remains hospitalized in critical condition.
