The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is reminding its residents that it will be hosting a fun Halloween Dog Parade at the upcoming Market on the Green/Halloween on the Green event on Sunday, October 30 th . Pooch check-in will begin at 10:00am, in the left-hand side parking lot of the Old Town Hall, and the parade will begin at 11:00am. The parade route will start in the check-inparking lot, go up to Old Post Road, turn-left down to the YMCA. Once at the YMCA, the parade will then turn-around and end where it began, along the left hand side of the Old Town Hall building parking lot. 7:58am--#New Haven--A media source has said that New Haven Correctional at 245 Whalley Avenue that the S-Unit is on a Code Blue (disturbance) a few minutes ago. Institution is now on lockdown - No Movement and they have called for both a supervisor and a camera. Sounds like it was at minimal a decent fight with injuries. 1 party was taken to the hospital unit waiting to see if they call for ambulance to transport to outside hospital. 10:36pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A police officer was injured when he tackled a suspect at the PT Barnum Housing on the Anthony Street side. Shots were reported fired and the officer gave chase to the suspect. A gun was recovered. The officer's injuries are not thought to be serious.
