HARTFORD, CT) – Last week Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Commissioner James P. Redeker debuted the state’s new fleet of three tow-behind plows that are capable of clearing snow and ice from two full highway lanes in a single pass. Westport News: Stolen Car Arrest
#Westport Connecticut--At Approximately 9:00 a.m. on February 24, 2016, Officers were dispatched to a Silver Brook Road address on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The complainant advised that the car was taken from his driveway at some point during the overnight hours. On March 10, 2016 the vehicle was recovered in Waterbury, CT. The car was then towed back to the Westport Police Department so that Detectives could examine it in the hopes of retrieving physical evidence. One of the items found in the car was an Arizona Iced Tea Can which the complainant said was not in the car at the time of the theft.
