5:44pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Firefighters and marine units were called for a water rescue of a catamaran that had its mast break off. A sailboat came to its rescue and began towing it back in as marine rescue units arrived. 11:11pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A man shot in the 400 block of Wells Street is a homicide but has not been officially announced by the police officials. The man was shot in the upper body. A little over a month and a a half a man was shot in the same area of the street and was driven to the hospital. He survived.
