Fairfield News: Sheep Gone Wild!

#Westport Fire Receives Grant

WESTPORT, Conn.—The Westport Fire Department has received a $4,000 fire prevention grant from FM Global, a major commercial property insurer. FM Global representative Meaghan Paul presented the award to Chief Andrew Kingsbury, Assistant Chief John Plofkin Jr, and Deputy Chief Robert Kepchar at Westport Fire Headquarters today.  The award will be used to assist with pre-fire planning activities in an effort to efficiently collect and track data related to local community buildings.  The information will help the department when it responds to an emergency situation. Bridgeport News: 2 Women Shot

9:30pm-ish--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Witnesses said they heard 5 shot around 9:30 Saturday night and two women are in critical condition. Chief Perez said he believes it was a robbery on the quite Anson Street which is located behind St. Vincent's Hospital. One woman was shot in the chest and the other in the back. Radio reports said the suspects are young, in their late teens or early twenties. This is breaking news and information can change. If I get any updates I'll let you know on DoingItLocal.com
