Bridgeport News: Chief Not Wasting Any Time
12:35am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--After gaining new resources and vowing to go after the criminals with guns today it appears Chief A.J. Perez is wasting no time. Two were just arrested at the Sugar and Spice Club on Park Avenue and a gun was recovered. There was no calls dispatched to the the club so it is apparently the chief living up to his promise.

Governor Malloy Promises More Help For Bridgeport Police
Governor Malloy, Mayor Ganim, federal officials, State Police and Bridgeport Police met at the State Police Barracks at 49 Prospect Street this morning to discuss how the state and federal government would assist the city of Bridgeport after their recent increase in gun violence.
