Westport News: Contractor Shows Porn To Kids

On Friday August 14th, 2015 Westport Police Officers responded to a complaint at a local residence where it was reported that an employee for a contractor had allegedly shown a juvenile a pornographic video on his cell phone.  During the course of the investigation it was learned that the employee had entered a room where both children were playing and had shown the child the pornographic video. The children (ages 8 and 6) immediately reported the incident to their mother. Prior to our arrival the contractor who had been notified of the incident by the mother, had called all of his employees together and the suspect was identified. Bridgeport News: Shooting Investigation

Here is the press release from the city of Bridgeport all the rest of the media is cutting/pasting as their breaking news: Bridgeport Police responded to a shooting early this morning in Bridgeport, Conn.  At approximately 12:21 a.m. on August 17, 2015 Bridgeport Hospital reported a gunshot victim. The victim reported that he was shot in the area of William Street and Barnum Avenue. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the face and neck.  The victim was later transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital in critical condition. Fairfield News: GameStop Manager Fears Sight of Gun

5:11pm--#Fairfield CT--A GameStop manager called police when he saw a customer with a gun at his waist. A store that many say promotes gun violence with games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, the managers usually know the rules of these games but apparently not the Constitution or open carry rules in the state. The police said he had a talk with customer but he was not escorted out. The radio reports said the manager said he and customers were nervous but it is uncertain if the manager polled the customers on this claim.
