#Stratford Connecticut-- There has been an increase in thefts of power equipment from unattended trailers. These thefts are occurring while workers are diligently working on a jobsite often leaving equipment unattended. These thefts are crimes of opportunity and occur very quickly. We encourage citizens not to leave any power equipment unattended. We encourage owners to inventory their equipment by photographing the equipment, documenting make model and serial number, and etching unique identifiable information on the equipment. Westport Police Mourn the Loss of One of Their Own

#Westport Connecticut---The Westport Police Department and the Town of Westport are saddened by the tragic loss of Sergeant Robert Myer. We extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Fairfield Police’s Stealth Cruiser

#Fairfield Connecticut--If you have driven by this police car you may do a double take to make sure you are correctly seeing a police car.   Fairfield has two "stealth" cars in their fleet.  Lieutenant Perez told me that people act differently when police are present.  The stealth cruiser hopes to catch law breakers in the act.  I would guess if you see a car with a spotlight mounted on the driver's side would be the best clue!  Westport was one of the first police departments to have a stealth car in it's fleet.

Bluefish Catcher Rafael Lopez Signed By Cincinnati Reds

Bridgeport Bluefish team officials announced that catcher Rafael Lopez has had his contract purchased by the Cincinnati Reds organization.
