3:05pm--#Fairfield CT--A child was struck or hit a minivan on Longfellow Road this afternoon. The child's father was on scene and placed the child into his white van until first responders arrived. The child's injuries were minor and the father refused medical treatment. A house on the street has a security camera that is aimed in the direction of the accident and are reviewing the video.

Bridgeport Firefighter Keith Muratori (Rescue 5) has assisted firefighters in Bridgeport and neighboring towns with his drone to give firefighters a real time assessment of a fire's progress from above. In this instance the quonset hut style warehouses were abandoned and firefighters only attempted an exterior attack so as not to risk their well being. The renovations were done by volunteers and funded by Aquarion, Home Depot, BioMetrics, TD Bank and Bigelow Tea to name a few.
