8:33pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A 7 year old is at Bridgeport Hospital with her mother. The East Side girl was sexually was sexually assaulted by someone know to the family. Please pray for her and her family.
2:02pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A child was injured after stepping on a grate outside Madison School at 376 Wayne Street.. Firefighters said the grate went through the child's foot. The child was transported to the hospital.

The Norwalk Department of Police Service is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred in the area of 197 Newtown Avenue at 11:30 pm on April 28, 2016. The preliminary investigation indicates a 79 year-old male resident of Norwalk was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The operator of the vehicle immediately stopped and called police. The name of the male is being withheld pending the notification of his next of kin. The accident remains under investigation at this time however, anyone that may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Officer Podgorski at 203-854-3051 or at any of the contacts listed below.
