Bridgeport News: 29 Police Cadets Take Oath

#Bridgeport CT-- Twenty nine Bridgeport Police cadets took the oath of office as officers.  Mayor Joe Ganim lead the swearing in ceremony.  Mayor Ganim said it is a "good day for the City of Bridgeport", that it is the "first steps in adding a hundred new officers to our department and that it is long overdue.  The mayor continued that despite the cities economic belt tightening this is the only area we still said collectively that public safety gets funded.
