UPDATE: Lucitania Mora of 29 Brookside Avenue, the child's grandmother 54-year-old grandmother was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor. The child was transported to Bridgeport Hospital as a precaution. UPDATE: A total of 3 crashes in the area due to slippery conditions. 2:40pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT-- A police cruiser was involved in a crash on Route 58 Black Rock Turnpike just north of North Street. Radio reports say the cruiser's airbags have been deployed and a van is on its side. DOT requested to the scene to salt the slippery roadway. #Fairfield, CT – State Police at Troop G-Bridgeport are seeking the help of the public in identifying two suspects who used counterfeit money at the Fairfield rest area last week. On Jan. 29, 2016, Troopers responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts inside the Interstate 95 Northbound Service Area in Fairfield. An employee reported that a male customer had paid with a suspected counterfeit twenty dollar bill. About ten minutes later, a second male suspect also attempted to pass a counterfeit twenty dollar bill to a different employee, but was unsuccessful. Troopers responding to the scene immediately determined that the first bill was counterfeit.
