10:40pm--The Peking Restaurant at 245 Wade Street was reported robbed by two males, one masked. The fled on foot towards Laurel Avenue.

10:27pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police were called for a large group of teens on Benham Avenue. A short time later an officer called for ambulance for a person stabbed around the corner in front of 138 Olive Street. A total of 3 ambulances were dispatched to the scene. Another person was reported unconscious.

The City of Bridgeport will begin collecting Christmas trees on Monday, January 11, 2016 and continues through Monday, January 18, 2013. All trees must be placed at curbside and free of all ornaments and plastic bags. Trees that are in plastic bags or have ornaments on them will not be collected. Trees may also be brought to the City of Bridgeport’s Transfer Station located at 475 Asylum Street, but must be free of all ornaments and plastic bags before disposal. The Norwalk Department of Police Service Detective Bureau is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on January 8, 2015 at 7:02 pm on Sheridan Street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue. A male gunshot victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Norwalk Hospital. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident arising from a disturbance in the roadway. UPDATE: Bridgeport has the highway shutdown at exit 29 10:11pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT-- A white Mini Cooper driving in the north in the southbound lane I-95 at exit 25. He hit a Fairfield Police car near exit 24. This all started at exit 17 in Norwalk.
